ACC Adaptive Cruise Control– This Function maintains the distance to the vehicle ahead while taking the speed into account. The setting can be selected to very close, close, medium, far and very far. You can activate or deactivate automatic emergency braking when adjusting the front assist on the onboard touchscreen interface. You can choose the timing setting to adjust the advanced warnings to early and also display distance warnings.
Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist) You can turn this feature on or off and also activate a steering wheel vibration alert to be on or off.

Volkswagen driving experience the lane assist feature helps the drivers stay in their Lane and it uses a camera located in the mirror triangle that is capable of recognizing lane markings and barriers. When activating the Lane Assist you activate it by touching the button on the left control lever after pressing once you will select the Lane Assist menu and then you can see a yellow indicator light under the multifunctional display screen this tells us the lane assist is in standby mode when the system recognizes lane markings the indicator light changes from yellow to green that means the system is helping the driver by making corrective steering adjustments when the car gets too close to a lane marking another option available is adaptive Lane guidance it continuously assists the driver while driving in the event the car deviates from the desired position you will notice a gentle timely steering correction that is different from normal operation when the steering correction is not activated until the car is about to depart from the Lane Lane Assist is active but now let’s say you want to change lanes you can simply activate the blinker and that returns the lane assist system to standby mode and you can change lanes without the car undertaking any steering Corrections that’s what the lane assist feature helps drivers drive safely but please make sure you keep both hands on the wheel at all times and observe your surroundings carefully after all you are still responsible for driving the vehicle I can find more information and your operator’s manual to help better understand how this works.
