Lexus Pre Collision System
As part of Lexus safety system plus 2.5 the Pre-collision system
bases its assessment on information received from the forward-looking millimeter wave radar and a monocular camera system
It can help detect a vehicle bicycle rider or pedestrian in front of the Lexus if the pre-collision system determines that a collision is likely based on the position speed and direction of the Lexus and a vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle rider ahead the Lexus is designed to warn the driver with an audible alert and a message on the multi-information display.
